Picture the scene: people young and old sitting around tables, at times chatting, at times deep in thought; a bar open throughout the evening catering for all tastes; a table with assorted raffle prizes generously donated from parents; a compere reading out an eclectic range of questions hand-crafted by an even more eclectic selection of RSPA members; enough hot food available to alleviate any teenager's hunger pangs; a unique ambiance that only the Reading School Refectory in the evening can deliver. This can only be the, now thankfully biannual, Reading School Parents Association Quiz Night.
Around 100 people, including many Reading Boys, helped to make the last quiz night on 4th May one of our most successful yet, raising an impressive £1,500 for the school and, more importantly, enjoying themselves in the process.
If you missed out last time, don't worry, there will be another RSPA Quiz Night on Saturday 14th October, from 6.30 pm to 9.30pm in the school refectory, so put the date in your diary and get your family and friends together. All ages are welcome and there will be a licensed bar selling snacks and drinks on the night. Tickets at £5 per person will be available via Trybooking from September 2017.
