Ongoing Bench Renewal Programme — Reading School Parents' Association

Following our 2019 initiative, where we replaced some wooden benches around the school premises, we were again asked in 2023 to help with another burst of bench replacements. The benches are used heavily, and we needed items that could withstand the elements, and provide a long-lasting solution for the students’ daily use.

In December 2023, we were pleased to donate a further £22,039 to provide 70 benches, picnic tables, and backless benches, all using recycled materials. These should provide a long-term solution to the shortage of suitable seating for our students.

Yes, there was! We were also delighted to grant the school funds for an outdoor study table and a football table in 2023.
